Tsuro Of The Seas - has a gripping Nautical theme and introduces Daikaijus - sea monsters! The game still challenges players to drive their opponents into each other or off the board whilst simultaneously extending their own route. The slightly bigger 7 x 7 grid board takes centre stage and players are dealt a hand of tiles (with two, twisting lines on it) and also places their marker on the grid. In turn order players place a tile from their hand onto the board and moves their token as far as it can go along the line until it is stopped by an empty space. If the token reaches the edge of the board or collides with another player's token that player is out of the game. The aim of the game is to be the last player left with a token on the board.
Tsuro Of The Seas - is a very clever sequel game with the introduction of the Daikaiju, more elements to avoid and also means that we now adore playing the Tsuro series of games. The game is extremely easy to teach and learn to play but deceptively hard to achieve victory in. For us, the stand out feature of this game, and indeed the whole series, is the stunning artwork. Tsuro: Veteran Of The Seas - the tile expansion pack is a worthwhile investment and look out for the other games - Tsuro, the original 2004 game and the even more visually stunning Tsuro: Phoenix Rising.
